Peaceful and secluded, the Cloud-House is the perfect spot for two.
You can enjoy cooking and star-gazing by the camp fire, snuggled up in the warmth of the log burner or soaking up the view from the outside hot shower.
Perched on the edge of the rolling Shropshire Hills on the border with Wales, accessed up a mile of private track through fields of sheep, you’ll discover the Cloud-House waiting to help you disappear into the wild.
The Yurt is a warm, cosy and romantic space lined with bright and colourful fabrics. Set on a large wooden deck there is a wood-burner for warmth and candlelight provides a perfectly tranquil and romantic atmosphere for two.
The small barn has a well-equipped kitchen with indoor seating and dining space. From the sheltered outdoor seating area and fire bowl you look out across a croquet lawn, past the grazing sheep to the mountains beyond. You have your very own ‘long drop’ loo and outdoor hot shower with fabulous views.
There are lovely gentle walks straight from the door that can lead you into the Shropshire hills for those who wish to explore further. If you should wish to dine out the market towns are only short distance away.
However, if it’s relaxation you’re looking for there is no reason to go anywhere. You can play darts or read under the canopy by the barn, play gentle lawn games, or sip a chilled glass of wine whole sitting next to the flickering camp fire gazing at the stars.

Sleeping arrangements
The yurt can accommodate 4 people. There is One double bed with bedding and towels provided. There are also 2 large single futon day beds, please bring your own bedding for these.
Cooking
A well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas cooker, kettle, toaster, sink with hot water etc is 30m away in converted barn. Basics such as tea, sugar, salt and pepper, tin foil, washing up liquid etc are provided but please do ask if you’re short of anything.
Bathing
A private safari-style hot outdoor shower is behind the yurt
. The Long drop loo a stone’s throw away.
Heating and Lighting
Candles light the yurt and theres a log burner to keep you toasty.
Electric lighting and plug sockets in the barn.
Entertainment
Games, cards, darts, badminton and boule.
