Cloud-House is the original Mongolian term for yurt, although the original Mongolian yurt-dwellers would probably be utterly delighted at the canopy of rainbow colours you see as soon as you open the door.
Bright African fabrics fill the ceiling and walls, fleeces and sheepskins ensure maximum cosiness and the wood burner and candles provide warmth and atmospheric lighting. The outside shower just a few metres away behind the yurt couldn’t be much quirkier – made up of reclaimed railway sleepers, copper and stone with wide-stretching views to the hills and the shared oak panelled long drop loo is a stone’s throw away.
The Cloud-House is set on a large wooden deck with outdoor seating space.
By the barn there are 2 options for BBQing and a fully equipped kitchen to hideout in if the weather is not so good.
Please bring wellies, a torch and umbrella
Please be aware that it is a very bumpy track up to the property
